According to The Athletic's renowned journalist David Ornstein, Gibbs-White, who was on vacation with his family in Dubai, will now return to England to join the national team's training camp.

Gibbs-White has been called up to the England squad by Tuchel after Palmer withdrew due to workload management. Following Chelsea's Premier League loss to Coventry on Saturday, Gibbs-White was on vacation with his family in Dubai but has now returned to England to join the training camp.

Palmer played the full match in Chelsea's 3-0 loss to Brentford on Friday and will miss all of England's upcoming international fixtures. Two other players whose participation remains doubtful are Rashford and Mainoo, though Rashford will undergo assessment for a hip issue he has been managing since the World Cup.
