According to Globo Esporte Brasil, Danish striker Højlund explained why he confronted Jorge Jesus after the match.

Højlund stated: "Because he didn't even bother to look me in the eye. I felt that wasn't sportsman-like. After a match, you should shake hands properly. He only touched my chest and then ignored me. That's why I said, 'Are you serious?' That's all."
