According to Inter Milan's official website, Marotta has received the AIPS International Gentleman Award, and several Inter Milan players also received awards at the 31st "Gentleman Award" ceremony.

On Wednesday, October 7th, the 31st "Gentleman Award" ceremony was held at the Teulié Military School in Milan. This traditional event honors the spirit of fair play in the world of football, and Inter Milan has always been one of the participating clubs.

Inter Milan President and Chief Executive Officer Marotta received the AIPS International Gentleman Award, a special honor jointly presented by the International Sports Press Association. Marotta said: "Everything starts with an important value: the passion that each of us must have in everything we do. I have loved this world since I was a child, and a dream I nurtured from my youth has now become reality: today I am very happy. This year's schedule is particularly special, with an unusually long break, and we ourselves must experience what will happen next. Our work continues throughout the entire week, everyone is striving to help the players achieve their best form. This is also a moment for me to thank many Inter Milan colleagues present today, those who belong to what I call the 'invisible team,' because they are not seen but work silently behind the scenes every day to create the best conditions for the team to win. Winning everything is a dream, and sometimes it can become reality: the responsibility is to do the work well, the reward is to be able to dream."

The ceremony also specially honored Sandro Mazzola, a legend of Inter Milan and Italian football who passed away in September this year. Marotta presented the "In Memory of Sandro Mazzola" Gentleman Sportsmanship Award, specially established for Mazzola's son Sandro, to honor one of the most iconic players in Inter Milan's history. Marotta said: "We have a duty to preserve memory, because it carries great value. Role models always exist and must be passed down to young people, so they become champions, not only on the field but in life. Sandro Mazzola showed us this at Inter Milan, with the national team, and in the wider world of football as well as in life off the pitch; he was a role model."

Inter Milan player Dimarco was honored as the winner of the "Serie A Gentleman Award." He said: "Individual achievement comes from team achievement: to create many assists, you need many strikers scoring goals, and I have four strong forwards around me. I am happy to achieve this record, but it is now in the past, and now I need to think about the present, new objectives, and new titles. I recovered well during the break: from the next match onwards, we will start even stronger. Between the league and the Champions League, there is no need to choose."

Zielinski received the "Inter Milan Gentleman Award" and the "Inter Milan Most Beautiful Goal Award 2024/25." The most beautiful goal award was given for his goal against Verona in an away match last season. Zielinski said: "Thank you for these awards. I think we are a strong team with many personalities: anyone who plays against Inter Milan knows that it is very difficult to beat us. We always try to win every match. Coach Chivu is a very good person and an excellent coach: I hope to work with him for a long time, because working together is a joy, he is truly wonderful. The break? Perhaps a bit too long, I cannot wait to return to the club and the big family. However, playing for the national team is always a joy, although perhaps four matches is really a bit too many."

Mattia Mosconi received the "Inter Milan Gentleman Rookie Award 2024/25." The young player born in 2007 made his Serie A debut in Inter Milan colors this year. He said: "I started from the youth academy and went straight through until last year at Inter Milan, finally realizing the dream I had nurtured since childhood. This award is very important to me: I want to thank Inter Milan, my teammates, the president and director, along with my U23 teammates, whom I train with every day. My goal is to continue this path, work hard with humility, sacrifice, and focus, and hope to have many more opportunities like this."
