According to Sport, Real Betis has now focused all its attention on the Champions League. Just two days after a 5-2 victory over Osasuna, Pellegrini's side trained on Tuesday at the Luis del Sol Sports City, intensifying preparations for their first home game in this season's Champions League: on Thursday at 4:00 a.m. Beijing time (CET), they will host Porto, managed by Vítor Bruno. The training atmosphere was relaxed, with smiles from the league victory still visible on the players' faces. Most importantly, there was good news regarding Anthony's condition.

The Verdiblancos enter this match following a 2-3 defeat to Lille in their Champions League opener. In the league, the team secured three points by beating Osasuna in a fiercely contested match. The Navarre side, which dismissed Luis Ramis on Monday, managed to recover from a 0-3 deficit to 2-3 before Isco and substitute Morante sealed the victory.

Regarding fitness, the most significant news is Anthony's positive recovery. The Brazilian player had to leave the Osasuna match early due to adductor discomfort, but completed training sessions normally on Monday and Tuesday. This greatly eased initial concerns, and he is expected to be included in the squad for the Porto match. However, given that he has been playing through injury, it is less likely he will start.

Firpo and Ruibal will be unavailable. The Dominican full-back is still recovering from injury, while the Catalan player, though back in team training, needs more sessions with the squad before receiving clearance to play.

On the other hand, Ceballos is expected to be a major change in the starting eleven. The player from Utrera has the chance to make his first start since his return to Real Betis, a night that also holds special significance for Betis fans.

With the absences of Firpo and Ruibal, Pellegrini will need to make two more cuts to the squad. Lozano is one of the leading candidates, and the other could be third-choice goalkeeper Manu González, similar to the situation in the league match against Osasuna.
